Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

Acceptable use

MailCheck is provided to verify email addresses you have a legitimate reason to contact. You agree not to use the service to harvest addresses unlawfully, to send unsolicited bulk email, or to violate the terms of any destination mail provider or applicable anti-spam law (such as CAN-SPAM, GDPR or CASL).

Verification accuracy

Email verification is probabilistic. Catch-all domains, greylisting and provider-specific behavior mean some results are returned as "catch-all" or "unknown". MailCheck reports its best assessment and a confidence score; it does not guarantee deliverability.

API usage

Each account may create API keys subject to per-key rate limits. Abuse, including attempts to circumvent rate limits or overload destination servers, may result in suspension.

Availability

The service is provided "as is". For self-hosted deployments, availability and deliverability depend on your own infrastructure, sending IPs and reverse-DNS configuration.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MailCheck is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service or reliance on verification results.

Changes

We may update these terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
